Why do I do so badly at school?
Its my last year at school. I'm trying very hard to get good grades at school; however, regardless of how hard I try (by going to tutoring and spreading out my studying), I never achieve the results which I want. I try to seek answers from my teachers but I feel that they aren't targeting my issue. What can I do? (By bad I mean receiving a B, which although may sound good to some; unfortunately, it won't get me into medicine)

2 AnswersPhilosophy1 decade agoCannot seem to lose weight?
I've been exercising almost daily for 3 weeks now. In my first two weeks, I lost weight. However, in my 3rd week, my weight seems to be stalling. Does that mean that I have to work out harder, or is this just something that many people go through as well.
Usually, I try to jog 30 mins a day and I try to include push ups and sit ups as well, when I have the motivation.
32 AnswersDiet & Fitness1 decade agoCannot finish my Assignment?
I have a chemistry assignment due in a few days and I do not want to stay up the night before it's due and try to finish it. Every time I try to start it, I purposely begin to procrastinate. When I do manage to get over my procrastination, I instantly begin to feel tired, although I know that I am not tired. Even when I do take a nap and try to begin my assignment, I feel either really tired, hungry or just have an urge to procrastinate. How can I overcome this and just get my assignment done.

I'm not a fan of weights, but if it seems like the only way, I guess will.

To clarify, can you obtain a toned body and/or increase your testosterone levels in the same way that lifting weights give you.
3 AnswersDiet & Fitness1 decade agoWhat is the best way to work efficiently?
I enjoy studying when I get into the mood; however, it's the first twenty minutes of study that puts me off. The workload seems long and boring and I don't seem to get much done. Usually, after twenty minutes, I begin procrastinating without having completed much of my study.
1 AnswerHomework Help1 decade agoHow can I keep to an exercise routine while studying for exams?
Usually half way every school term I set myself a goal to lose weight, I do well until exams begin and for a month I barely do an exercise and my weight goes back up to its normal. Because I don't exercise for a month, I'm out of my routine and I have to motivate myself again to exercise, which is about half a school term. So how can I stick to my routine?
2 AnswersDiet & Fitness1 decade agoWhy Do I feel like procrastinating when I'm tired?
I'm usually enthusiastic about doing study when energetic but when I'm tired I usually procrastinate for long hours. I try taking short naps but they seem to make want to procrastinate even more. What should I do?
1 AnswerHomework Help1 decade agoI feel like I want to kill my family members. Whats wrong with me?
It's a feeling I can easily suppress but now and then it comes back, and it's annoying. Is it because I play too many violent computer games and watch too many violent movies, or do I have a disorder? Is it a phase I'm having in my life? I used to always think about death and have annoying habits, but they're gone now. BTW I'm 18, if you wanted to know.

3 AnswersMartial Arts1 decade agoAre my legs fat or muscle?
I used to do a lot of taekwondo, but then I had other issues which I had to attend to and now my legs are really thick. Because my body isn't proportioned well, ( I have a very skinny upper body but very heavy lower body), I want to know if my legs are bulky muscles, fat or a combination of both. Is there any advice for how I can slim down my legs?
1 AnswerDiet & Fitness1 decade agoHow come I don't see any results?
I've been training 30 minutes a day for a month now and I'm yet to see any results. I do cardio three times a week, strength training three times a week, taekwondo training twice a week and I rest usually on Sundays. I've cut down my calorie intake; however, I am gaining weight instead of losing it. Before I started training, I was moderately fit and had little fat on me, which is still yet to appear that it is reducing.
3 AnswersDiet & Fitness1 decade agoWill a high protein diet help slim down bulky muscles?
Assuming that I do a lot of cardio exercise
7 AnswersDiet & Fitness1 decade agoHow to present a a speech when you have stuttering, (stammering or speech impediment)?
I have to present a 10 minute oral and I'm terrified of it since I have a stutter. I used to go to a speech pathologist and it has made my speech more fluent when I'm calm, but not when I'm stressed or having to speak quickly. I am anxious about presenting my speech to a degree; however I am most concern about having to speak quickly to finish my speech within the 10 minute limit.
What are some ways that I calm myself before a speech and how should I confront my issue about having to speak fairly quickly. Personally, I prefer to speak slowly and do a good job, but obviously, I would be marked down.
1 AnswerSpecial Education1 decade agoWhat is exactly a second growth spurt?
By that question, I mean when does it occur? How much taller will you grow? Is it possible in all males/females? Is it apparent in all races? (This may be a weird question but it's a hypothesis, so criticize me if you want) Is it something that occurs depending on your lifestyle? etc.
2 AnswersDiet & Fitness1 decade agoCan I grow taller if I sleep more?
I'm 17 and currently 176cm (5ft 9in). For the past two or three years I've been sleeping late almost everyday (about 7-8hrs) and I haven't grown once in that time period. If I start sleeping more everyday (about 8-10hrs), would I grow more?
My family genetics show that I should be a bit taller than what I am right now.
