does anyone think it's sad that yahoo answers is going away forever?
i have been here since 2006 and long ago it used to be a great community, with nice respectable -knowledgeable people giving helpful answers, most of them left or sadly passed away...compare it to now where the site is over run by halfwitted disgusting generation z - thick as pig sh!t- worthless trolls.
its sad what yahoo answers has become, no longer resembles the place it used to be long ago when we had the green format....that is the place i will truly miss, not the degenerate cesspit it is now with it's trolls.

What is wrong with my computer? Windows 98 is acting strange?
My computer has progressively lost functionality working worse and worse over time.
A couple years ago AOL quit working to login and I stopped getting the - Welcome , you’ve got mail! Message when I went online in AOL 4.0
I then had to try and get online another way and was able to get a neighbor kid to install a radio antenna on my computer plugged into the scanner port and connect some sort of box to the phone line and this blue/black box with rabbit ears on it.
I then called the phone company to set up internet and they told me I couldn’t use aol and how there was outlook and internet explorer which were used instead of aol 4.0
The internet works like CRAP and most sites still don’t load in internet explorer and outlook 97 doesn’t work with the new email systems very well.
It doesn’t say welcome and say you’ve got mail anymore and I can’t get my email anymore.
What happened? What could be wrong?

All my apps keep crashing on my phone please please help?
I have samsung i can't open almost any app without it crashing. I googled it some say they have the same problem but they say to delete webview but webview doesn't give me that choice! It doesn't have uninstall or disable as a choice
I need google maps to get home but it keeps crashing! :( I always use it to help me get home. There are no gas stations or stores nearby how do I get it to work? I pulled over but I don't want to stay here long

What is the most expensive thing you have bought off Ebay?
Favourite answer:I just bought a Swarovski crystal piece......originally $600.......but now retired, and most sellers asking over $2000.......but I found a seller only asking $1,100......and talked them down to $900 and she accepted the offer.
Alas, when I got it, easy to see why her price was so low, and so eager to take the discount.....there was a tiny, microscopic pinhead prick on it.... which would have rendered it worthless to any serious collector.
But it would be barely noticeable on display, of course......but still, she advertised as MINT, and it clearly wasn't.....so I complained, and she offered another $150 refund......... so, $750, seemed fair then.....since the piece can't be had for less than $1,500,-$2000 these days.
I can live with the pinhead prick, since my intention isn't to re-sell, and just wanted to complete the series.
so, only $750, with another $50 for postage........so, $800.
That's been my most expensive EBAY buy so far. But many others in the $500-$600 range.

Why is Instagram so stupid and pointless? Should I stop using it?
Ok so I have like a 1,000 followers on Instagram and I posted a picture of myself. A few hours went by and I only received 4 likes on my pictures and I’m like wait a minute that’s bull crap! I have 1,000 followers how am I only getting 4 likes on a picture??? So I figured out the reason why. It was because of Instagram’s stupid algorithms and Instagram doesn’t show ALL people my pictures and like that’s so stupid! What is the point in even posting pictures online if more than half of your followers are not going to see them and what’s the point in following people if you know that you are not going to see ALL of the new pictures they post??? So after figuring out that dumb issue with Instagram’s algorithm, I literally had to spend about an hour liking a picture of ALL 1,000 followers just to get all of them to notice and I only received an additional 30 likes back the next day on that one picture I posted? So why couldn’t Instagram do something like this for me and everybody else using this app? Should I really consider deleting it then if it’s going to be that stupid and pointless???

Is it wrong to torrent all my favorite 90s television, instead of subscribing to 5+ streaming services?
Yes, I know torrenting copyrighted TV is deemed illegal in the eyes of the law. Do YOU (as in YOURSELF) consider it wrong?
I DO subscribe to Netflix, but it doesn't always have everything, and stuff is constantly removed without warning. Is it wrong to simply torrent my favorite 90s shows, instead of signing up for 5+ individual streaming services, or buying DRM infested content that you can't do anything with?
