In Korea, eating dogs is very popular. Why then do we not do it in the US?
Favourite answer:We don't eat dogs in the United States because we have never eaten dogs. In China, Korea, and other places in the world there is a history of it. We eat little piggies (which are smarter than dogs) and developed the domestic cow over hundreds of years to both drink it's milk and eat it's flesh. Maybe both are wrong?

Do you think that Chinese food tasted better with MSG?
Favourite answer:MSG, or monosodium glutimate, is a salt that literally excites your taste buds. When I was 19 you could buy it in spice bottles in the supermarket with the other spices. I remember a friend and I who were in a consumer nutrition class together went to the market, saw it on the shelves, opened it and each put a pinch on our tongues, it make our tongues tingle.

Which culture do you think has the worst food?
I’m going to have to throw my people under the bus here, but in my opinion haitians have the worst food.
For example, they love to eat corn meal and yams. There’s this one cuisine called mayi moulen and it tastes so bland. The bread that they make is so stale too! And they love to fry foods like plantain and pork. What sucks the most is that a lot of their food is high in salt so most haitians are doomed to get high blood pressure and obesity. I’m glad I grew up in the states I could not survive off that crap.

Favourite answer:Japanese cuisine is considered the healthiest. They eat enough meat but don't overeat it like we Westerners do. And, as with most island-countries, they eat a lot of fish too. They also eat lots of vegetables with their stirfrys.
Nutritionists tell us that HALF of our plate should be vegetables. Typical western meals are 0 to one-quarter vegetables (you can't really count potatoes or corn, since they are mostly just starch).
As for salad, iceberg lettuce - the lettuce that we buy most often - does not have much nutrition in it. The most nutritious greens are kale, spinach, romaine/cos lettuce, and argula.
