Do you agree that pernament blindness is much worse than rape? ?

    Favourite answer:

Male on female rape is just SIMPLE ASSAULT. Causes no lasting  harm in the vast majority of cases.

Blindness is MAIMING. It is permanent, debilitating.Huge difference.Fun fact: about 100+ years ago, the punishment for simple male on female rape was 3 days in the local jail and $25 fine. No felony, no prison, no lifetime registration. It was treated exactly like simple assault in a bar fight.Male on male rape was the hangman's noose, as fast at possible. And rightly so.

Is being racist a cultural thing in the first world?

    Favourite answer:

The internet in general isn't going to improve your perception, I'm afraid... For some reason, everyone is far worse to each other online than they tend to be offline. Especially kids. And especially gamers for some reason.

I can't say there aren't cultures here where this kind of thing is common, but decent people tend to despise it.

Is it time to leave the clocks at British Summer Time?

No one likes it dark at 2pm in the winter, farmers have giant spotlights in their field, so can't put the argument of being too dark, too early in the morning and 99.99% of children do not make their way to school on their own now, so their is no debate anymore.

Why is the racism is on so wrong?

    Favourite answer:

Everyone is racist to some extent.  You cannot mention any norms or customs of a race without offending someone.  If I say blacks are better at basketball--I will be accused of racism.  We (the human race) need to identify the cultural differences among races and put it all out in the open.  The "politically correct" way of ignoring differences is not working.

If a guy isn't married or dating seriously at 41 will he likely remain a bachelor?

    He's turning 41 in May.

He's worked as a personal trainer privately and at gyms and has never held down a solid day to day job. He lives with his mother in her house which is quite large so he has the second floor to himself basically. She still cooks for him, he pays his phone bill and his car is paid off he drives a 14 year old SUV.

He's never been married and has no kids and doesn't own a home.

His only serious relationship was with an 18 year old when he was 24, when she broke up with him to move away for her masters degree program he was devastated. She was his dream woman, she plays sports and now has a law degree and is a practicing lawyer. After her it was all cheap thrills. Picking up women from places like hooters, strip clubs, work out classes, yoga classes, dating sites. He would basically screw anyone with a hole, a tattoo sleeve and a facial piercing.

Fast forward to 39 and he finally dates a woman long term for the first time in 15 years. She was 20 and had never lived away from her parents, was extremely sheltered and struggling with off and on anorexia symptoms and unmanaged bipolar disorder. They moved in together after 1 month of dating and things fell apart. She was accustomed to her parents paying for everything, cooking, doing her laundry and folding her clothes and all that and she couldn't handle the responsibility of even paying just $300 a month of the $1600 rent. They broke up after 6 months of dating and he's remained single ever since.

Would it be very hard for me?

I'm almost 20 and I'm scared about my life. My parents didn't do anything to prepare me for a big life as they tried to raise me as a little mommy-son who can't do anything on his own. They did everything for me, even my homework. I wanna sing, but I can't, because my parents never tried to teach me how. I wanna achieve something, become somebody in life, and they didn't help me a bit. I need to fix my health cause I have problems now after years of ignoring everything by them, and they don't give a damn. They literally put zero effort into my education and now after 20 years of doing nothing, they say, "well, you're already 20, go and do everything yourself now, earn money, and fix your health..." So now I wanna pay for my health, for college, for lessons that I need, for an apartment to rent and work at a job where I can attend to without any diploma but with health issues... How am I gonna make it? I'm just afraid I won't have enough money for everything I need and nobody cares.
