How is Phoenix Arizona is it a real big city ?

    Favourite answer:

It's a huge, sprawling city! It can take an hour or more (once you get to the interstate) just to drive across town. Add the "suburbs," which are so immediately adjacent they are part of the megalopolis - e.g. Mesa, Scottsdale. You will need a good car & be a good driver. You'll spend a lot of time commuting to work, grocery shopping, & everything else.

What is there to do in Arizona for 7 days? ?

I am planning a trip in early April to Arizona and wanted to know what there is to do. I'm landing at PHX Airport so I am probably gonna spend 4 days in Phoenix and 3 days in Flagstaff to visit the Grand Canyon. I don't know if there is anywhere else I should consider like does Tuscon have anything?

Which is better for spring break vacation?

    1) Phoenix, Sedona, Flagstaff, Grand Canyon

    or

    2) Los Angeles entirely

I'm planning to go for a week and have considered several factors including the COVID pandemic and which is safer. I am leaning more towards an Arizona trip since its not nearly as crowded and i've been to LA before but think I may get bored at Arizona.

I'm landing in Phoenix for a one week vacation. Where do you recommend I see. I'm planning to go to the Grand Canyon and don't know where else to go. I will be there for 7 days and will be careful with the covid situation.

Why is it hard to find a girl that wants to live in Phoenix, AZ?

I'm wondering why it is so hard to find a girl that wants to live in Phoenix, AZ. What is it about Phoenix that turns people away? I moved to Phoenix last year and I absolutely love it here. I've noticed however that people come and go and don't stay long in Phoenix. I met a woman who sold her house to go live in Flagstaff and she was so excited about it. I mean really? Flagstaff? That town is so boring. No skyscrapers, big malls, or any city life. I really want to have my career here and I want my future kids to go to school in the Kyrene District. It's just hard trying to find a woman who loves Phoenix as much as I do. I've also met a woman who wanted to move to another part of the world and just said Phoenix would do for now.

Another guy recently told me that it will be hard to almost impossible to find a girl who wants to live in Phoenix. He said it's because girls love to move to other parts of the country. I don't understand it. Why do people not want to stay in Phoenix? And when I say Phoenix, I'm talking about all of Maricopa County, not just the city limits. It's so nice here. Phoenix is probably the only nice city in all of Arizona.

Furthermore, why is it that everybody gives me a funny look and say that Phoenix is full of rude people when I tell them how nice and friendly people around here are. I've met some of the nicest most kindest people here. I've met people who would go out of their way to help you.

    Please answer my questions.

    Thanks!

Is it safe to fly to Arizona or New Mexico right now?

Ive been wanting to go to Arizona for a couple of yrs now and I now have finally the time and money. But then the pandemic happened. i know AZ is currently a hot spot, but so is where I live, California. Do you think it would be safe for my 12 yo daughter and I to go to az, on a plane, if we wear masks social distance from others on our trip? it would just be for a couple of days.

would New Mexico be more safe or either one is bad or fine you think as long as we follow protocols?

Why are a lot of people moving to Arizona ?

So basically you think escaping to Arizona will solve this nonsense happening in this country? Because everyone will eventually migrate there and screw it up.

    Covid-19 travel restrictions ?

I have my significant other in Phoenix Arizona. I’m in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles in California. I was wondering if there’s any state-to-state , travel restrictions right now. I couldn’t find any clear answers on google search.

Would they let him cross the state border if it’s not essential ? Or would they basically tell him to turn around and go back to Phoenix ?

    Thank you for your answers

    & have a good one & be safe & healthy !!

    there because it has

    some of the cheapest

    apartments in the

If Arizona does not do daylight savings time, then why do the Indian reservations therein do DST?

    Favourite answer:

The Navajo have DST because their territory stretches outside of Nevada.

    The Hopi don't observe DST.

Is it safe for teen women in Arizona?

My friend and I both 17 and female will be visiting Arizona with her grandma. We will be in a town near Phoenix.

I wanted to know if it’s generally safe to go hiking by ourselves or if there’s a high crime rate we should be wary about.
