There is a video of me coming home from the hospital when I was born for a family gathering. The video tape was recorded in 1991 it seems to be doing okay but I would like to have that vhs with me the rest of my life as many of the family members on that tape have long past. I would like to be able to watch that tape on my death bed when I am elderly

Canon EOS 200D 11 recorded footage over 5 minutes long is not uploading to my computer?
Hi!
Just got this camera the other day, I am using it to film. I am uploading the footage to my windows pc.
I have no issues transferring the files to my pc, however it seems to only be able to upload the shorter footage (up to 4mins) after that the clips seem to be completely nonexistent.
They are still on my camera but just aren't showing up on my pc when I go to upload.
Has anyone had this issue? How did you figure it out?
Thank you so much in advance :)

How do I make an HD video on iPad?
Favourite answer:Find a way of making the iPad as steady as possible, and make sure there's lots of light. After that, learn how to edit, and do a lot of it!

VHS Camcorder but with SD Card instead?
I’m looking for something to give a vintage/retro look but I don’t really want to use a camcorder that actually uses tape even though I love how it looks. I’m just looking for the sort of warm, fuzzy effect you get a lot of the time with the older cameras.
Any suggestions?

When it comes to Iris/gain value in video cameras, what does 0dB mean? Is there gain in 0dB? Is the video signal being amplified?
Favourite answer:Measurements and ratings given in decibels can be confusing
because they require a reference,
and in some cases that reference is Implied rather than Given.
However, EXCEPT when zero dB itself is used as the reference,
it Always means that there is neither gain nor loss ---
the output level is the same as the input level.
When zero dB is the reference, other factors must be stated.
I know ... it makes one shake one's head in bewilderment.

Do movies have to be recorded with a hdr camera to be true hdr?
Favourite answer:Film has high dynamic range; it's the conversion/scanning to video (or direct video) equipment that may be limited range.
Any movie originally made on 35mm or 70mm film can be re-scanned as HD, HDR.
Most use 70mm.
35mm colour film has an equivalent horizontal resolution of something like 3000 pixels. 70mm around 6000.
That puts 35mm well above 1920x1080 and not too far under 4K; 70mm is far beyond 4K.

Why doesn't any company make a camera whereas it records to a server rather than directly to the device?
Favourite answer:Apparently you have never heard of facebook live. I believe there are other cameras on the market as well, but you need an internet connection that you are going to get on a government base, except via cell phone signals. Government facilities make you leave your phones and cameras when you enter, not just when they think you might have take video.

Is it better to have a discreet dash cam?
Favourite answer:No. An obvious rear-facing camera has gotten a number of tailgaters off my butt. As far as the forward facing, that can be discrete. Most drivers won't see the forward facing until the moment of impact.
