Which computer monitor is gentle on the eyes?

Which computer monitor is the most gentle on the eyes?

I have seen recommendations for the BenQ 32 inch, 4K UHD Monitor, though it's a tad expensive.  I am willing if it is the very best in this ONE respect.

I heard about Viewsonic, but my current ViewSonic VX2739WM 27-Inch is very hard on the eyes.

I am tired of filters and adjustments that simply don't work.

What is this on monitor screen?

It's a green little pixel that is noticeable on black areas. It won't go away.

Is a 60hz tv bad for gaming?

So I have an Xbox series S and wanted to buy a smaller monitor to play on. My current tv is 4K 60hz but it’s a 50 inch and I don’t like gaming in huge screens so I bought a 28 inch monitor with 4K but it’s 60hz as well.

I’m not a pc gamer yet so I know for pc 120 hz is ideal and know the series s can do up to 120hz But will this affect me with my smaller monitor?

What can I do if my monitor is not working?

Today my monitor is not connecting to my PC no matter what I do. I tried everything and it seems to be a issue with the monitors connectivity with HDMI. I tried different HDMI connections but still nothing. I think there's something wrong with it's HDMI port. I'm still in my warranty period so should I call the manufacturer and see if they can service this or if not replace? I don't see any reason why I have to pay for an entirely ne monitor if this one stops working as described in my warranty period.

Are there any monitors out there that have amazing displays?

I'm interested in monitors not specifically made for gaming but for amazing HDR displays that looks sharp and clear while watching videos.

What size of monitor would be needed to show 4k?

    Favourite answer:

    4K usually means a display is 3840 x 2160 pixels.

However, those pixels can be ANY size, so your

question is nonsensical. With small enough pixels

I can put the whole thing on a 10 inch screen, or

with larger pixels I can put it on a 100 inch screen.

Trying to guess what you are really asking, if for

example you are wanting to look at an image taken

with a 10 megapixel camera, the image would be

around 3872 x 2592 pixels, so at full resolution,

you would not be able to see all of it on a 4K

display (around 30 pixels missing on the sides

and around 430 pixels missing on top/bottom).

What is the best monitor height ?

    Hello there

im having a problem for quite a long time and i would like a good advice what to do or what you do

im pretty used to play on games on the computer and i quite dont know what is the best heiight to put the monitor

in most of the internet ergonomic sites they say that the top of the monitor should be at eye level , and i quite dont get if this really should be don because if the screen is big and you are most of the time bending down to look at the middle - bottom of the screen it causes your neck to be bended down and probably a hunchback

and if you raise the screen with books below it that the middle - bottom of the monitor at eye level so its comfterable to look the the computer monitor and not a pain to use the computer [and to not get an eldery mans neck] there is this problem that will accoure [and try it] at least when i use it that the upper back and neck leans to the side of the hand you are using

so lets say you use only your right hand on the mouse and the monitor is kind of high so you dont need to bend down to look at it the body leans to the side of the hand that you are using the most [at least thats what i feel when playing FPS games]

sorry if this sounds a little wiered just for a long time i wanted to know if anybody can give a good advice how to place the computer because ive tried puting books below it and ive got this wiered leaning to the right feeling when using the monitor high and the top screen at eye level makes me bend uncomfterably

Is turning off your monitors after using them bad?

I have these smart plugs that can turn off anything that is plugged in to them from my phone of Alexa. I plugged my computer monitors into them using a power strip, so I can turn them off with Alexa when I am not using them. But I was told that doing this without putting them into standby first can damage the monitors. Is this true?

    are LED computer monitors safe?

    Favourite answer:

"LED" monitors/screens are still LCD panel ones, but they use LED backlights rather than miniature fluorescent tubes as backlights, as with the previous generation LCDs.

And near enough all newer domestic lighting uses similar white LEDs to those LED screen backlights.

There are panicmongers who say will any imaginable type of technology is "dangerous", without any good grounds, and usually with zero technical knowledge of what they are criticizing.

Anything truly dangerous is not permitted in consumer appliances.

[OLED screens are very different; in those, each pixel is made up from coloured LEDs that directly produce the light you see].

Just get a good LED monitor!

    Computer no signal ?

I have an asus desktop, windows 10. I have the computer connected to my element tv via hdmi. Today I went to move the computer. I had to plug the computer into a different outlet because the one it was plugged into wouldn't reach to where I wanted to move it to. So I unplugged the computer, unplugged the hdmi, moved the computer and plugged everything back in. Turned the computer on and the tv says no signal. I plugged the computer into a different outlet. No signal. Plugged the hdmi into a different port. No signal. Used a different hdmi cable. No signal. Tried an actual computer monitor. No signal. How do I get my signal back

What kind of video card can I put in this motherboard for HDMI?  A PCI card?

    Favourite answer:

You have a few alternatives..the black port is"agp graphics port" ,the Advanced Graphics Port..you also have a PCI-E port which is the longer of the 2 PCI ports..that port is faster (graphics wise)than the others you got..the smaller white one(at the bottom),is normal PCI Port..(the slowest of all for graphics..but to answer your question...buy a "HDMI to VGA cable"..tha way you will be able to use the onboard graphics of the motherboad..(saving resoures.,of your computer-you only have a limited number of resoures on any computer..).
