Can a cashier refuse change? What gives?
Favourite answer:Yes. They have no obligation to break a note for you. Why should they? If you are buying something, they'll give change but they are not in the money changing business.

When do I let my interviewer know?
So I got an interview for a job position & in the description of the job it states the typical end time is 6:00pm. I am a part time student who does night classes from 6:00-9:00pm. When is the correct time during the interview to let my interviewer know that I may need to be off possibly an hour early for my classes because the time may conflict. OR DO I NOT EVEN MENTION THIS TILL AFTER I POSSIBLY GET HIRED ON??

Why would I be asked at an interview, "What you you say if we offer you the job?"?
Favourite answer:If you want the job you say "yes" .
If you answered anything other than that, you may want to keep looking for jobs.
Why they asked it was to see if you think quickly. A quick thinker would have said 'YES'...because a person who did not want the job would have excused themselves and thanked the interviewer and said 'this is not a good fit, but thank you for your time."
So if you stood there and mumbled or looked confused....if you said anything but some version of 'yes'. keep up the job search.

The last several garage sales I've had, the few people that stop seem to think everything should be free or next to it. Why is that?
Most don't buy saying my prices are too high. What? Twenty-five cents for an air popper is too much? Then there's the excuse people: "I got laid off from work two years ago." or "I'm a single mom with 6 kids." which I am supposed to assume means "I don't have any money." I wonder how far they'd get in a retail store with those excuses?
