would my eclipse croke out during a race?

any car can **** out on you while racing or just driving for that matter for no apperent reason so yes it can but not likely , on to the next ? you really can do any thing you want to that car for hp it all depends how much you wanna spend but it was not ment to race and useally the gs models turn into RICE real quik becuase if you dident take the time to look for a gst or gsx and not only that it is an auto witch even sucks more becuase it will be the frist thing to go dsm make shity auto trannys and also scince you have the 2.o change you roil pump and flush the system to keep good oil presure

GS were never meant to be anything more then the base model- i think, but they aren't really that fast to begin with.Especially with an auto tranny and with 160000 , theres no real need to drag race the thing.Sell it and get a GST- or even better, a GSX
