What music should I download on my ipod?

I am struggling for inspiration - I like bands from REM to Fallout Boy, from the Jam to Journey. Dance, R&B, Rap, Hip Hop, Indie, Rock and Pop are all cool. What music will I love the first time I listen to it?

I think you would like the band Angels & Airwaves! They fit what style your looking for and their album has absolutely no filler songs. You may have heard "The Adventure" which is a good song, but definately not the best from the band. If your only looking to buy a few songs, not a whole album I suggest "The War", "Distraction", "Start The Machine", and "It Hurts" by Angels & Airwaves. If your not interested in their music than bands such as "The Coral Sea" , and indie art rock band from California or "NeedToBreath", "Cake", "plus 44", "spoon", and many more

Normally the best music, you dont like the first time. Music that i too computer based an does not have real musiciians(except the pet shop boys) normally does not last. Unless you want to change the music on your I pod every month, get some proven classics on there.

I have a great playlist. Check out the BLOG @ stolenpen.com

Elbow is a British band that I think you'll like right away. For some good old American jams, check out the Ike Reilly Assassination.

    Enjoy!!!

I recommend songs with 180bpm, because it's exactly the right speed to run with. Great Big Sea's Consequence Free is one. Rammstein has a few.

In general, you'll probably love the same music on your ipod that you love on the radio.

What I did with mine was downloaded a huge amount of songs and played them on random for a while. Eventually you'll get a liking to a certain amount of songs which I put in a seperate 'folder'

But I understand your issue, sit me in front of a PC and I go BLANK :)

Download the song, "Ten Thousand Fists In The Air" by DISTURBED. Put the earplugs in and CRANK it up...

You'll be downloading anything by DISTURBED after listening to that song...
