Gee, how much would it cost to transport all that fill dirt to New Orleans? Way to costly I believe. How about moving most of New Orleans to higher ground nearby.

I'll forget about the environmental impact on the mountains and the excessive cost of transporting that much earth. New Orleans was originally built above sea level and sank. What would prevent it from sinking again?

Nature should not be destroyed and remain as it is. Moving land could create an environmental problem while solving the trouble in a low lying area like New Orleans.

I say let New Orleans go the way of Altantis. It is a termite riddled nasty city.
