how come miss universe always comes from earth?

Despite a massive marketing campaign, hours upon hours of televised broadcasts, and the efforts of SETI to decode the replies, no entrants from beyond the earth have yet shown up to compete for the crown. Hopefully they'll soon change the course and apply.

The only question then is in finding a qualified dress-maker for the competitor. Perhaps they'll bring their own.

Many contestants from the planets of other stars want to take part in the Miss Universe competition but unfortunately, by the time they arrive to earth, its too late and the Judges can't accept grannies as contesants.

By the way, people on other planets and galaxies are wondering why there are no contestants from earth for the Miss universe competition which is being held in their home towns :)

The Rules of the Contest dicatate the the Contestant be a Human Female -Else they might have included canine contestants...

Unfortunately, at this time the Earth is the only planet inhabited by Humans, and to this day no self-respecting non-earthling would admit a common ancestry to the Humans, even if it were true...

Hmm.. never thought of it that way before :) Who knows in another 100 or so years when the aliens finally make contact we may have a Miss Universe pageant with "aliens" !!!

Because the entrance invitations are mailed out. By the time the letters get to nearby stars and civilizations, and get returned (assuming correct postage), the cut-off date has passed. Personally I think the organisers do that on purpose, so that an Earthgirl always wins, but I could be wrong.

becasue the other would be contestants in the universe are so shy that they darent come down, and if they did they would probably kill us with a single glance as they would be so god damned hot im sure that we wouldnt even be able to judge the competion, plus theyve got better things to do with their presciou time anywy...like doing there nails or something...
