how do i keep songs off of my ipod when uploading? and acouple more questions....?
Every time i upload it adds songs that i dont want(my wifes music) how do i keep it off without having to delete it? Also are there any other cool things that i can get or do with it. I have a 30gb. I just got it today so im new to the ipod scene....Any good sites to get more games or good music???
it doesnt matter if the box is checked or not. If i have all of the boxes checked an plug the ipod in it uploads all the songs if i have all of them unchecked it uploads all of the songs....
ok i plugged in my ipod it updated it and then i took all the songs that i wanted and made sure that it had a check next to it then i went to the tab for my ipod and clicked add only songs with check. and hit apply. it said that it was syncronising or whatever and then it came up with error. that it could do it. whats up...
the error code happens when i go to summery and check the box that says only sync checked items it pops up and says.
ipod cannot be updated because an unknown error has occured -50
i downloaded itunes today so i have their newest. there is no ipod symbol on that screen

Actually you have to go into your iPod's options menu. If you have the most recent version of iTunes (you can download it from apple.com if not) click on the iPod symbol. It should go to the summary screen with options such as the iPod version, amount of memory left, etc. Under the "Options" part, there is a option that says "sync only checked items." Make sure it is checked and it should only sync only the songs, video's that you have checked.

FIRST LOAD YOUR ITUNES YOU WILL SEE THE LIST OF YOU HAD PREVIOUS DOWNLOADED THEY WILL HAVE A CHECK MARK ON THE LEFT SIDE, BLANK THE CHECK MARK ON THE SONGS YOU DO NOT WANT AFTER THAT RE HOOK YOUR IPOD AND IT WILL AUTOMATICALLY UPDATE IT SELF
