It seems a total insult to the American Justice System. ANYONE ELSE would have been sent to the prison hospital. I feel sorry of you Yanks, as this will make you a laughing stock around the world. All it says is "Hey if your rich, and in the USA, don't matter, do what you like the law does not apply."

Yes, apparently she was released this morning (Thursday June 7th) and will do the rest of her 23 days in House Arrest with a ankle monitor attached.

Massachusetts has the second highest rate of wrongful incarceration in the states. There are people here who have done 20 and 30 years in prison for no crime commited yet Paris Hilton can't even finish a 23 day sentence for a crime she did commit. We really need http://www.jail4judges.org/

little rich girl was sooo stressed that mummy and daddy sent the shrink on to see her and she told him she had a headache and sore tummy so the nice man asked if poor little rich girl could go home instead of being in a nasty jail with all the commoners so the warden kissed her forehead and said ok you go home away from this nasty place and make sure next time your out driving illegally that you at least kill someone preferably a child or pregnant woman.

apparently she fell ill so the sherriff's department decided to release her early subject that she is electronically tagged for 40 days - so no late night partying for her but I do agree its an absolute joke and makes a mockery out of the law!
