Formula One Dull?

Canada today proved everybody wrong. Never a dull minute. Shame about Kubica breaking his leg but it could have been worse.

You will hear about this race the rest of your lives. The dawn of the Lewis Hamilton era. The flying Polski. Sato passes Alonzo. Be glad you saw it...

Just like the old days, except, if it were thirty years ago, we'd have black arm bands on tomorrow. The safety technology proved itself today when Robert Kubica survived that plane wreck.

I was just about to have a rant until I saw your question! People assume its just a few cars doing a few laps, but yesterday proved all the critics wrong. The only problem is that the people who find F1 boring wouldnt have watched that race!

    Get well soon Kubica!

    Perspective please!

The nature of Montreal is that there is always, ALWAYS an incident, a minimum of three. It is such a predicable certainty that the constructors factor it into race strategy, hence no huge shocks (Sutil winning for example).

F1 is getting stale. Its a shame about Kubica, he'll live, i'm sure all he want to do is get back in the car, and I heartily commend the FIA on its no nonsense stand on safety but, Where has the RACING gone?

never a dull moment in Canada eh, what a race that was. more of a banger race but a race all the same. i feel for robert kubica, he was flying through the air. thanks to vastly improved safety regulations and the hans device he was lucky just to have a broken leg. it could have been a lot lot worse. this race will go down in history and not just because of Lewis's first win!

kubica is lucky to be alive. I am happy for him. F1 has never been about close fender banging racing. Its about technology and racing the most sophisticacted machines in the world. The glory, money and hype is what makes it exciting.
