Does anyone reckon Daniel Wells (homesick for WA?) is a viable straight swap for Judd to come to the Roos?

Maybe they can chuck in a couple of late picks and, I don't know, Leigh Brown and Leigh Harding? Do you think the Weagles would go for it?

Update:

There is room in North's salary cap for Judd - the question of affordability only comes up if the other clubs in contention are offering under-the-table deals that North can't match, and AFL clubs wouldn't do that, would they?

The facilities might be what gets Judd - the facilities at Arden St are exactly what Judd is used to!

    Judd will go to a team that can afford him. His asking price would bankrupt the Shinboners. Best to keep Wells, anyway. Judd may never recover fully from his tissue weakness issues.

    Although I hope he fully recovers so that we may winness his brilliance for years to come.

    If I was WC I would take it seeing Judd is a certainty to leave regardless and they know wells is a really good player. But how certain is it that North are staying in Melbourne? I thought they were looking for a new home, if so then Judd wouldn't go there because the whole point is to move to Melbourne.

    Daniel Wells comes no were near that of Chris Judd, i think the best deal that the eagles could get would be a trade with essendon, pick number 6 and paddy ryder and scott gumbleton both from wa and both high draft picks , Gumbleton pick #2 and paddy Ryder a top 10

    I'm sorry to say but i think the Kangas don't have enough money for Judd and the kangas weren't part of his 4 choices but who knows wheres is going I'm kind of over the whole Judd think.

    Good Q, I reckon they would go for it with Wells plus a low pick. Too bad they won`t have a low pick......
