What kind of bug is this???

The chrysilis is marroon/orange while cocooning they hibernate under rocks and dirt Prior they are beigebrown caterpillars and i find them all over mostly sleeping under the towels i have outside I brought a few in the house in my aquarium for observation (my kids are curious about them)most are cocooned now but im getting nervous im not so sure im going to want what these may be in my house Please tell me what they are

    Don't know for sure from your description but a real cool web site is below, lots of pix.

    But the guy said that the 'Horned Tomato Worm' would not eat tomatoes and that is WRONG!

    If this can be a beetle, it's regularly a potato beetle. They are relatively typical in America and feature special darkish and faded brown stripes stripes. If you already know what sort of trojan horse it's, what state or nation it's in, or every other understanding I is also competent to support extra.
