Generally if you take fish oil on a very regular basis then you may see lots of things become oily. The fish oil will push harmful more toxic oils from your body by any means possible. The hair and of course facial follicles are closest to the brain therefore the quickest to push out oily toxins, you may even see small white balls of cholesterol pushed through the skin. I had this problem when I wanted to prove Dr. Erasmus theory for myself and was taking 8 tablespoons of extra oil a day. I lost ten pounds that week, I was already eating healthy, but I felt better and my hair and skin were never as smooth. The only problem was I started getting these little white balls of ?. We had a doctor that frequented our store so I asked him about it and he told me I was just detoxing and that's what the little white stuff was, bad cholesterol. I really felt great so I still take fish oil but I only take the extra amount for about a week once or maybe twice a year now.

Yes, Fish Oil helps a lot with skin health, and for some people, it makes their skin oily. It's more of an issue of an effect that you don't want, so you may want to not take Fish Oil.

I've been taking supplements for a few years now, and I've found a few things that work too well for me like the Fish Oil is doing for you. I didn't feel that the benefits I liked outweighed the "non-positive" effects that I was getting, so I stopped taking them. If you don't like the effect you're getting from it, you may want to stop. Good luck!

I took the enfamil brand Lipil. Which is basically the same thing while I was pregnant and breastfeeding. They made my hair healthier, thicker and stronger (my hair is normally dry and frizzy). My hair also grew faster. I think I may go back taking them again. Omega 3 is very good for brain and eye development for our baby so keep taking them and try changing your shampoo. It helps to change shampoo every 3 to 4 months too. It's possible you won't need as much conditioning because of the changes in your body. Try a shampoo made especially for oily hair.

The oils cause your hair to be oily. Omega 3 does that. especially if you take it often

This explains it....my skin has never been more glowing or healthy, but my hair? Oily! Now...to make a choice...

I've been taking it for quite awhile. I do not have the problem you are having. In fact, my face and scalp have been more normal to dry than anything.
