Birth Certificate?

Hello from London.

Apologies for not being able to write in Italian, I just hope there is a 'friend' in Italy who can help.

I am trying to find the cost to obtain a italian Birth certificate from the Commune of Rome. If I ask for it from the UK how much should I send the Commune Office?

Thank you if you can help

terryellislondon@yahoo.co.uk

Update:

My trouble is I don't understand written Italian so the forms, wherever they are on the web site, are difficult to fill in, can anyone assist?

    Hi, I don't know if I can help you, but I'm sure that a birth certificate can be self-certificated. If you don't need just the original copy, you can download a module from www.comune.roma.it and fill it.

    Bye!

    I can try to explain you step by step how to print yor birht certificate from an italian site...

    Go to http://sociale.notizie.alice.it/servizi/certificaz...

    this may open a page "Autocertificazione Anagrafica" with a tool bar --> search for the word "nascita" (it should be the first word at the top) in the tool bar and press "cerca" --> Fill in with your personal details

    cognome = surname

    nome = name

    male/female

    nato a = born at (for example Roma)

    provincia = province (Rome is RM)

    il = when (for example 01/01/2008 in form day/month/year)

    residente a = living in (the city where you live... London?)

    provincia = province (???)

    indirizzo = address

    N° = civic number

    then click on "Crea il certificato"

    and will appear to you a printable page with all your dates in form of self-certificate.

    Let me know!!! Bye!

    I think it's very cheap or maybe free of charge if you get it there, but I don't know if they would send it to you.

    Try this link, but it's in Italian only:

    http://www.comune.roma.it/was/wps/portal/!ut/p/_s....
