Could a Human Mother give birth to a 'implanted' Primate embryo?

This is a three part question. ALL are important to my research. (Please ignore the moral implications for now).

Firstly.

Is there any MEDICAL reason why a Human Mother COULDN'T give birth to the 'embryo' of a primate (e.g. a Chimp, which is said to be our closest relative), that has been 'transplanted' into her?

Secondly.

If it is possible, in any way what-so-ever, would the 'offspring's' DNA still be so different from its 'surrogate' Human Mother, that it could be misstakenly assumed by those who were not aware of the transplant, that she didn't actually give birth to it?

& Thirdly.

The same questions as the first and second, but in reverse, i.e. Could a 'Chimp' Mother give birth to a Human embryo, and what would the resulting DNA show?

Update:

I forgot the 'need' to mention it, and I don't mean to be a 'killjoy', but these questions do require "INTELLIGENT" - "INFORMED" & "SERIOUS" answers.

Update 2:

Supersonic Steve.

That is helpful. Can you remember where the info is?

Update 3:

Katie and Matt

I'm really looking for more positive, 'informed' professional answers, than your, very appreciated, but, 'guessed' answers. All I want to KNOW is ; 'IS IT POSSIBLE - within today's scope of technology'?

Update 4:

Hi Otto. Where are you getting your info from? (i.e. Its VERY important to be accurate, for what I need the information for. All will be revealed eventually, unless you've guessed already?).

Update 5:

Well, Hello Dolly!! What a Wally, with your ignorant folly, you show us all today.

And I am extremely suspicious of those, like yourself, who hides their own Q & A's, as if there is something nasty about themselves that they don't want to reveal.

If I'd have been so disrepectfully "pompous" to the 'sensible', 'intelligent' answerers of these questions that I've received, I'd have given them the same 'thumbs down' that I have awarded you, wouldn't I?

I am well aware of the mind boggling mountain of ambiguous info within the "public grasp", but I have very good reason (for further research I am undertaking), for this information to be as professionally explicit and as scientifically accurate (and endorsed) as possible.

One thing's for sure. If you weren't so darned ignorant and were in any way qualified to answer these questions, you'd have done so, because, if you were and, for no good reason, you wouldn't, then your peers, for the sake of human learning, should shoot you!

Update 6:

Whatever, Dolly. Whatever.

Update 7:

Hi Pandora. Oh dear! Everything was fine as I read down your 'answer', a little dissapointed because, again, that I was picking up self-opinionated words like, "I would imagine", "morethanlikely" & "high possibility", which do not indicate the 'FACTUAL' information that I seek, until the warning bells rang & it finally became apparent, by the typically bigoted & insulting language in your 'Edit', that the words were coming straight from the bible of the doomed 'evolutionistic' fanatical cult.

Your 'opinion', that I should not be asking questions on a "general public" Question & Answer board, after, SUPPOSEDLY reading my reasons for doing so, is idicative of your own superior ignorance. Who do you think you are, without the prior knowledge of the plan, to insult and criticise, 'god'? Since both yourself and your 'friend', Dolly, above, are so critical of Yahoo Q & A, why are you on it, is it to ram some more of your 'evolution' religion down down the throats of the gulible?

1.:I could imagine that cells implanted into a surrogate mother could be brought to a resulting birth.

    Thinkable, but improbable.

2.I would suspect that the "off springs" DNA would not change, even if implanted into a human.

3.Still doubting the change of DNA, provided the parents were both human or, as in no.2 primates.

Some things will not work. Even though the human DNA & DNS are very much the same as in primates, human cells would attack the foreign cells as intruders and kill them. Even at the cost of eliminating the human. Even pigs are up to 92 % identical to humans, but I have only heard of human pigs referring to their behaviour. Not their ancestry or looks.

I read an article about african wildcat embryos grown in vitro and implanted into a domesticated "house" cat....which apparently worked but you cant believe everything you read on the internet....

I would imagine that the human would morethanlikely reject the primate embryo as a foreign body and not allow implantation or miscarry. Eventhough its from a closely related species theres a high possibility that the embryo would'nt stimulate the neccessary hormones essential to embryonic growth. Or gametic isolation such as the embryo being unable to survive in the reproductive tract of females of another species may be a factor.

For your second part of the question, no the mothers DNA would not be anyway incorporated into the fetus (just like human-human surrogacy...)

Finally for the third part of your question, the same barriers as before would be encountered.

ps. These answers are important to your research.....???

I dont think asking a question to the general public on yahoo is classified as research...

EDIT: i read your other question (where you slated the theory of evolution) and i think that its extremely ignorant to claim that the common ancestor doesnt exist. Do you even know what your talking about??

Asking was it half man half ape really got me questioning your knowledge....

its EVOLUTION!!! and its also a theory, so there are no hard facts as of yet but its BY FAR the most logical explanation. Personally i think we owe our existance to cyanobacteria. Maybe you should read a few books before you come on here with such an ignorant question.

EDIT: If my answer was not "factual" enough for you then i think your best bet would be to stop wasting time on yahoo and go to a library.

If you care to reply feel free to email me.

oh, and evolution is not a religion....its a science.

It's more than likely the body would reject an embryo from a different species so I doubt a human or primate could carry to full term & then give birth to a baby that is not their own species.

DNA is not affected by the host womb so if a primate embryo was implanted into a human womb it would not suddenly aquire human DNA. And vice versa.

The information you require is all out there within public grasp. But as you have given such a pompous response to the good answers on here I will let you locate it yourself. If you're not smart enough to know the basics I very much doubt you could handle the information anyway.

EDIT - Wonderful! I knew you'd bite, lol! Showing your true colours now sweety! And having discussed your question & irrational, over emotional response with my colleagues they agree wholehearedtly with me. You couldn't handle it. There's a reason why the information is difficult to track down for people such as yourself. Have a think about your outburst & you may realise why.

I think on Planet of the Apes it might be possible. What about if a Chimp gave birth to a human baby? Do you think that could be possible. LOL.
