american staffshire terrier that "goes" in her crate.... help please?

I have a 7 month old Amstaff that wont quit urinating in her crate. At first she had a blanket in there with her up untill last weekend when i got sick of washing the nasty thing. now when i come home from work there is urine all over the crate and she is soaked. I give her minimal amounts of water in the morning before i go to work and she goes out several times after the watering. She normally is in the crate for about 6 hours. I cant leave her loose cause she likes to tear things up sometimes. She is current with the vet so there should be nothing wrong with her health. Is there anything i can do to get her to quit? I dont want to just stop giving her water in the mornings cause that would be a really long time to go without anything to drink. She never goes #2 in the house or the crate... its just peeing that we have a prob with. If we are home and we dont get her out fast enough some times she will go in the house out side of the crate.... any help would be appricated.

thanks

Update:

how about i bring her over to your house jan and she can pee on your carpet and tear your stuff up while you are gone. Atleast im not beating her or making her fight or be agressive twards children.... what do you expect me to do. She goes out several times in the morning before i leave then my wife takes her out then she is crated untill i get home from work. I will try the ice cube thing and see if that works for her. Thanks to all who give reasonable answers.

she probley needs a pee scedual that means she has a sirten time she goes to the bathroom then she while not have to pee all the time most puppys should be able to hold it in for 2 hours plus make sure you take her to the bath room in the morning you could also try to puppy pad train her or put puppy pads in her crate

I had the same issue with my German Shepherd. In the morning instead of water give her ice cubes. The ice allows her to get the water she needs, but it takes longer for her to get it. I first saw this on It's Me or The Dog on Animal Planet, and it worked for my shepherd. I know you're working so you need to confine your dog. It's easier to train anyway, and anyone who knows anything will know that puppies are fine for no longer than 8 hours in the crate. Take her out when you wake up, after she eats some ice cubes, before you leave, and as soon as you get home. If this doesn't work talk to a vet as it may be a more serious issue. If they rule that out, the last thing I can think of is it's separation anxiety. Go to animalplanet.com and research separation anxiety and they can give you effective pointers. Good Luck! I know how frustrating this is

6 hours is WAY to long for a puppy to be crated. You need to take her to a puppy day care or have a friend or family member to take care of her when your at work. She is a baby and she will tear up stuff and pee. If you walk her daily and get her tired that will calm her down. No more tearing things up. Dogs were not made to live in cages (crates) if you can't take care of her properly you shouldn't have her.
