What are the little dashes called that you get in lists?
I know there is an academic and grammatical word for the little dashes when used in a list like this:
- first point;
- second point;
- final point.
Can anyone remember?
:)
I know the vernacular name for them is hyphens or m/n-dashes, but there's another way of saying it that isn't in common usage; that's the one I'm looking for. Thanks for the answers already though!

If the symbol is being used in a list ,bullet.
If its being used in a sentence ,hyphen or dash.

Technically they're bullet points when used like that.
The symbol is called a hyphen or 'en-dash' or 'n-dash'.

When used in that context, they are bullet points.
