Help me name these muppets! (see picture) - 10pts?

I need to find the identity of these two muppet-like characters and which TV show they are from so I can get a joke wedding present done. Has anyone got any ideas? 10 points for the first correct answer with a link. Thank you.

    Those aren't muppets, they're puppets designed by Rick Lyon. They aren't from a tv show but they're the main characters from the broadway musical Avenue Q (Kate Monster and Princeton).
