She was born in 1451 and died in 1504 at the age of 53. I haven't found much on the cause of her death.

"Increasingly ill, she appears to have become more introspective, more concerned with her immortal soul and those of her subjects, and more averse to men dying in wars with no religious aim. And she repeatedly suffered personal loss."

"The deepest natures have the greatest capacity for suffering, and the agony caused by repeated bereavements seriously affected Isabella's health. In the autumn of 1504 she was attacked by a fever. Enfeebled by years of grief and anxiety Isabella sank rapidly under it and died on the twenty-sixth of November. Death had no terrors for her; after a life so full of action and responsibility the thought of rest must have been sweet. During her illness she was serene and cheerful, and said to those who wept beside her bed a few hours before her death, "Do not weep for me; pray for the safety of my soul."

Isabella started to become ill in 1502, when she was fifty-one years old. At first, it started out with fevers and fatigue, until she started to have fainting spells. She kept having relapses. In September 1504, she collapsed for the final time. She had a fever, couldn't eat, but had an unquenchable thirst and had difficulty breathing. She withdrew from Court and prepared her will. At noon on November 26, 1504, Queen Isabella died. She was fifty-three years old. Her last recorded motion was the sign of the Cross. Some think she suffered from Cancer.

The queen of Castilla was SPANISH, and as such, her name was ISABEL, not Isabella, which is ITALIAN. Named for? I believe she was named for the Santa Isabel who was the cousin of Santa María (the mother of Jesus).
