Will my Mp3 still work after it has been dropped in water?

This is embarrassing but I dropped my Mp3 in the toilet. I dried it off, and when I turned it back on the lock sign kept coming up on the screen when it was not locked, so I turned it off and tried it again except this time it started to turn off by itself, and now it wont even turn on at all. It's a Phillips Mp3 player by the way. So will it still work? What should I do?

    dunno,if it helps but.....my friend washed her ipod and it still works.
