What wifi card should I buy for a Compaq Armada M700?
Looking for a cheap card as its an old laptop, would prefer one that is small and neat.

I have Windows 2000 and XP installed and it only has a USB 1.1

Wifi cards are all of similar dimensions but if you still have windows98 installed then you need to ensure there are drivers still available from the card manufacturers and that the PCMCIA is of the right type - later versions used different voltages. I would initially take your laptop to a good computer store to check the card will install properly when you purchase
The alternative is to use USB wifi adapter- you can get adapters that are USB1.1 compatible but the same caveat applies to your drivers
