Yahoo Mail - is anyone else in the United Kingdom having problems opening Yahoo mail?

The slow poor service has got worse over the past few days ... this evening it has become impossible to access any emails. I'm relieved to read others have problems ... but, as one of the other yahoo users says, why hasn't Yahoo (including BT yahoo) apologised and given its users an explanation?

I'm having exactly the same problem. Only thing that seems to work (just to read emails) is either using the mobile site or using the preview pane on the My Yahoo page.

It's nothing to do with your PC it's a problem with yahoo mail. I have the same problem tried to open mail and it just hangs!

If you look around on Yahoo Answers, you will see that this appears to be a fault at Yahoo in recent days, so no need to think it is your PC.

I just wish they would have the decency to come on here and give us at least some reassurance that they are on the case.

My opinion of Yahoo is rock bottom because of this.

no problem with mail, but yahoo answers hasnt been working for last half hour here, takes forever to change the page and have to refresh many times, im on 3 mobile broadband though so it could just be my signal.

I run 6 businesses and have yahoo as my website hosting and email company! this is killing my business communication not being able to communicate or even get the yahoo page up to log into for the last 3 days!

Come on yahoo sort it out please i pay you for a reliable service!!!!

I have been having this problem for the past 2 days. I have tried updating windows and even disabling my firewall to resolve this, but nothing. The only way around this is to set your mail account back to Classic by clicking http://us.mg1.mail.yahoo.com/dc/optout?s... click yes when asked do you want to opt out.

I tried to go back to the newer version but get the same story.

You are not alone. I've not been able to access My mail for 2 days now at all. They had better fix it soon cause i'm getting angry......
