Flying Northwest Airlines 747-400 from LAX to Japan? Is there an inflight system at each seat in coach?

I heard they upgraded all seats to have this system...true?

If seatguru is up to date, they do not. I'm sure Northwest can give you a definitive answer if you give them a call.

With Northwest Im not so sure, but on most 747 planes, there is not any seat-back entertainment. Some 747s have a refurbished interior that would include a screen on every seat. If not, well then bring a magazine or a thousand. I was on a Chicago-Amman flight this summer without a screen. It SUCKED!!!!!!!

I Have experience in flying internationally with Northwest. The airbuses are really good like the 400 but the other planes that are the biggest in the fleet they have not upgraded everything with those planes yet. But those plane are really nice. I flew on one from Japan to South Korea. I had a good time on that flight with the new things that they offer when they have the airvuses and those upgrades that u are talking about. I watched everything and listeneed to music so much on those flights. So please enjoy when u fly on those airbuses. I wish that they have them going on longer flights to USA. Check out with nortwest which plane u got before the flight then u will know.

maximum worldwide airlines and those like United, usa, Delta are greater probably to. function 747s on longer flights, jointly with to Europe and Asia because of fact the 747 can handle the longer distance. For going to Chicago and JFK, the 757 and 767 are frequently used. Out of LAX, i got here upon that 747 are greater basic on routes to London, Korea, China, Germany, etc...
