How much will a new gas boiler and installation cost me?

I need to replace my existing oil fired boiler with a gas boiler. we have gas to the house but will need to run a new pipe from the meter to the utility room.

House is 3 bed detached, 9 radiators

Boiler would be a good ( valient? or similar) open system boiler

I live near Reading, Berkshire

    Budget for between £1200 - £1400 , ,for your boiler go the a heating suppliers ,and ask in store ,they are the guys who get the feed back from both installers and homeowners on the crappy boilers

    Mine cost me 600 quid online, glow worm 30 HXI condensing, great boiler

    stick with oil, don't change to gas, you will be sorry, have it repaired or replaced like for like. plumbers will try to convince you that you need a new one but will they tell you about the big kick backs they get for convincing you to buy new
