How do I stop multiple Yahoo Answers emails?
I keep getting the same email telling be about an answer of mine that has been voted the top answer. I've had well over 30 emails and they're still coming through! Any ideas on how to stop it?

Sara,
You really can't stop them. Just delete them as they are all repeats. Additionally we are not getting new mail letting us know that we have a new best answer.
Just look at your list of answers in your profile to learn when you get a new BA.
Hopefully this will be fixed by New Year's Eve.
I have received approximately 200 repetitive congratulation emails for BAs in the past two days.

Just look at the list of questions. This has been going on for 2 days with similar questions posted literally hundreds of times. Yahoo is aware of the problem! Is there a problem with the lists of questions in the Yahoo categories that people aren't seeing that similar questions have been posted so many times? Maybe yet another glitch?
Do NOT block sender. The problem will be fixed eventually You don't want to block all emails from Yahoo! I wouldn't email Yahoo either.... it's enough with the flooding of this board and the Suggest board. Again... they are aware of the problem!!

The same stupid thing is happening to me! It's so annoying! It's a bug, so there's nothing you can do to stop it. You might want to set up a new email if you have a free account.
Hopefully it will stop soon. I've gotten close to a 100 emails for the same Best Answer.

Sorry to break this to you but it's a system-wide problem, affecting many of us, and it's something only Yahoo (or it's stupid employees) can fix. I don't have much faith in them to do so in a prompt or efficient manner since the glitch has existed since Friday night.
I'm getting carpal tunnel syndrome from deleting all these repetitious emails! I've had over 200 so far! And they're still pouring in!! Very frustrating.... even worse, they're NOT notifiying me of new best answers. I have to look on my profile to see if I won any since Friday since they're too busy sending and re-sending the same old notices and now don't send new notices even once.
Welcome to YaHELL where glitches are the norm and we are left to wonder if Yahoo knows what it's doing because some glitches last for months. Example: they haven't up-dated the category leader boards, where the top 10 answerers in each category are listed, since June!
YaHELL indeed! There's nothing we can do to stop it either.

There might have been a glitch in the system, but if it happens again email yahoo, ask them why, and if it still happens just uncheck send me emails when creating a question and check back often for answers etc.
