Can you recommend a funny book?

I'm looking for a good read, a comical one. Don't mind if its fictional or not, or a biography. I would actually like to read a funny biography so if you have any re-commendations that would be good. I'll give 10 points to one i feel like buying.

The Lost Art of Keeping Secrets is touching and cutely funny.

Addition by Toni Jordan is pure hilarity.

    Bridget Jones

Dickens books like Nicholas Nickleby are funny.

The Late Hector Kipling by David Thewlis is painfully funny (pain being the operative word)

    For younger readers:

    The Confessions of Georgia Nicholson

    Hellbent

    Diary of a Chav

    Finding Cassie Crazy

I am not a big Non Fiction reader so i dont have any funny Biography recomendations however i can recommend some laugh out lout funny finction books.

Anything by Christopher Buckley is really sharp witty sarcastic and hilarious. My favorite is Thank You For Smoking (it was turned into some sappy movie that definately didnt do the book justice) the book is a sharp look at the lobby industry in washington and how they turn every fact around to fit thier cause. The main character is the lobbiest for the tabaco industry and he is to funny for words. Another good one by this author is Thats No Way To Treat a First Lady. The first lady is accused of killing the president and a very funny trial follows. The way the president actually died is freaking hysterical i laughed out loud. Its very Clintonesque :)

Another funny set of books is Blood Sucking Fiends and You Suck: A Love Story by Christopher Moore. It follows some not very good vampires in San Fransisco. Its a hard series to explain but it is some of the funniest writing I have read. I laughed out loud and got funny looks on an airplane while reading these books.

    Hope this was helpful!

Anything by David Sedaris. He usually writes essays, composed in one book. I have read almost everything by him (and even met him once) and I have cried from laughing so hard.

It's a lot of dry and sarcastic humor, but very intelligent as well. He just came out with a new book When You're Engulfed in Flames.

I suggest starting with his earlier books Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim, or Naked.
