Looking for an Elizabeth Davy's date and place of birth.?

I'm looking for the date and place of birth of Elizabeth Davy. The only clue I have is that she married Ernest Emm from Lodsworth, Sussex in 1910.

I have had a look on the ancestry site for you & found Ernest Emm straight away, born in Lodsworth,Sussex in 1879.Fathers name,Charles & mothers name Eliza & a sister Edith born 1881.Marriage date for Ernest

July/Aug/Sept.1910 in Hackney,London.Vol.1b-page1046.I could not find Elizabeth Davy born in Lodsworth but there are some Elizabeth Davy's in London & also in Hampshire.Ernest was living in Hant's at the age of 11 but by 1901 was working as a servant in London. It looks as if your Elizabeth may have come from the London area.I hope this helps a bit.Elizabeth may have been born around 1883 give or take a year or two.

You could either wait until the 1911 census comes out (which I believe is pretty soon) and maybe if you are lucky you will find her age and place of birth from that, or you could buy that wedding certificate which I think would be your best bet and then hopefully find her with her parents on the 1901 census.

Since they were married in London she could have come from London, Essex or anywhere really.

Unless you have some more clues finding someone in London with a common name is like looking for a needle in a haystack.
