Is their a PC based QR reader?

I've ended up with a few things recently with QR codes on them and I don't have a QR reading phone, and neither does any of my mates (we even tried the BB Storm)

Is their any software that can read it form PC using a webcam?

A company called Jaxo Systems has software that may be the answer for you. I believe the software is free, but site registration is required to get to the download area.

Their program 'BarCapture' can decode barcodes on a PC, so I imagine if you take a picture of one and display it this program will decode it. They have an even better program, 'Cam-A-Bar', which reads directly from a web cam, but it's in beta. Get the info and downloads here:

PS: I'd be interested to know if it works and how well.

regrettably the way the motor vehicle industry works is the pros get the extremely sturdy and expensive computor kit, each and everything you may get your palms on will in basic terms provide you sufficient information to get you in worry!
