Some countries pay people to donate blood, do you think we should too?

Personally I think it would be wrong and it will be a sad day if it happens. But it would probably mean more people will do it.

What do you all think and do you give blood?

I think we all have a moral right to give blood. If we needed it we wouldn't think about whether the hospital had enough, we would just take it for granted. If we all gave blood, say once a year, perhaps we wouldn't ever have a shortage

I have given blood in the past and it was fine. It doesn't hurt and you get a nice cup of tea afterwards!

I Personally don't understand why people should expect to be paid for donating blood !

I've been a donor for almost thirty years - went from giving whole blood to plasma - then platelets.
