If the teams do form a breakaway racing organisation, it would not be named Formula 1, Ecclestone owns the rights to that name but F1 itself does not need either of these two, in fact F1 would be a lot better off without them, Mosely has a dictatorial method of running ( or should I say ruining ) F1, Ecclestone wants to have a different system to find a champion by the most wins and not by points, if this was the case, Button would now almost certainly be the champion because it is highly unlikely that one driver will win seven of the nine races that are left but with the points system the other drivers do have a chance of winning if the Brawn advantage of the diffuser gets emulated by other teams and Button finishes mid way while the Red Bulls finish first or second, they could then gain enough points, if Mosely and Ecclestone were concerned about what the fans want, they would leave F1 as it is but allow in season testing so that teams can improve during the season.

Mr. Ecclestone owns the rights to Formula 1.
Mr. Mosley is a close friend and associate.

F1 could probably do itself a favour and go forward with neither of these two old war horses. I'm not a big fan of F1 but Mosley and Ecclestone seem on the whole to be two old duffers surrounded by scandal most of the time. Time for new blood to enter the arena - methinks!

I don't know but they do sound like a couple of old fart's! That cash in by sitting on their arses. Too much talking and not enough action to sort this capping problem out. If their not careful 10 of the teams will pull out of the sport if this capping can't be resolved which would be a disaster for the whole sport of motor racing. Sort it out boys!
