Don't you just hate staff appraisals?

I hate giving them and I hate taking them.

Any hints on making them more bearable would be great.

    Staff appraisals should not be made frequently. It should be done only on a motivation basis or when promotions are to be made.

    Utter waste of time as no one is honest in them
