Very happy indeed - and I laughed aloud when Ben Bradshaw was subsequently interviewed on Sky News and bleated (as usual) the by-election result was somehow unique to Norwich and at a General Election the voting public would see how Gordon Brown was "guiding us out of the worst recession blah, blah".

    Unbelievable.

All the indicators are worse than the incompetent bunch of no-hopers predicted - and will certainly continue to worsen.

When Klingon Brown finally faces the country the TDs will sink him and his motley crew. Our best hope is the rabble attending the Annual Conference will ditch him and elect a new Leader, Alan Johnson - the only one with the ghost of a chance to prevent a total melt-down of the Labour Party. David Millipede funked his opportunity a while back.

Johnson would have to call an October election in order to try and get the mandate Brown avoided. Labour would still lose the election but not be annihilated as will happen under Brown.

Can't those Labour Members of Parliament see that having Gordon Incompetent Brown as a leader is like having a ticket to ride to no where!

How many reminders must the taxpayer/electorate give the Labour Party that having Gordon Brown as leader is like living in a fools paradise.

Right now the Labour party backroom boys and girls are working on a strategy to fool their members; But what they have forgotten is the unforgiving electorate who will vote for whom they chose not whom the Labour Party tell them to vote for!

This is just a foretaste of events and results to come. Now everyone can see what is happening except those timid, frightened Labour Members of Parliament.

A vote for Gordon Brown is a vote for political extinction!A bit of advise these Labour Members of Parliament ought to remember!

Yes, it just shows how pissed off everybody is at the moment and the the country can't continue on the Path it is going along. To vote Conservative in the next election is the only choice we have of a better Britain in a few years time. Also Labour need to reorghanise and bring back their socialist values that cannot happen while they remain as the government.

Big Deal. One swallow doesn't make a summer. Wait for the General Election before crowing.

Anyway even if Labour get voted out, David Cameron is just Labour-Lite.

Have a look at this link. It was written by a serious journalist who until recently was an avid supporter of the Labour Party.

    It says it all.

Bloody Nose yes, but very low turnout so not really an endorsement for the Conservatives. It was, all in all, a protest vote.

I am delighted that Brown got licked at this by-election. But FOR ONCE.... I have to agree with Paul on his answer.

I can take the thumbsdown, I'm a big boy now LOL.

It's all going downhill for Gordon.
