NAMA what do you think?

The National Asset Management Agency what are you thoughts?

Economic, moral, social, political genius or madness?

And if there was a referendum on it how would you vote?

My worry is that if there is all this development land for sale and all the developers are broke,

    Who will buy the land?

Will the banks just loan money to a new generation of developers?

Also NAMA will be run by the government, the same people who are incharge of other multi billion euro missadventures like the HSE and FAS, not very encouraging.

I think they should just create a new bank with now toxic assets and let everyone bank there and let all the old banks go under

It's a gamble. No idea how it will work out.
