Are members of the Irish Travelling Community considered to be a separate 'race' under Irish law?

Thanks

No, they're only considered a social group, not an ethnic group under Irish law, reference here:

No, but they are included in discriminatory acts. Like its illegal to discriminate against people based on age, gender, etc, and being a member of the travelling community.

Well no they aren't a race.

Do you mean when people refer to it as racist when you say something bad about them?

They are technically an ethnic minority
