How can I store loads of graphic novels (hardback comics)?

Husband has thousands of these comics piled up in the attic. Attic has sloping walls so bookshelves are not practical. Says he needs to get to them so can't just chuck them in a box. They're A5 - A4 sizes and hardback as well as paperback ones. They are driving me mad - help please.

option 1: rent a small storage shed and have him move them over

there (be sure not to put them on the floor)

option 2: invest in plastic storage tubs (like the ones for christmas

decorations), load them up and stack in garage

option 3: tell him to grow up and sell them on ebay

option 4: send them to his mother

option 5: buy an old trunk, fill it and store in closet (his side)

option 6: put on his side of bed and tell him to move them somewhere
