I'm 15 weeks pregnant but have stopped feeling pregnant, is that meant to happen?

I'm 15 weeks pregnant and have stopped feeling "pregnant" I have had the feelings of pregnancy earlier on such as morning sickness, tender breasts, tiredness and the funny taste in your mouth. It been a while since I was last pregnant (6 years ago when I had my twins) so I have forgotten what it feels like!

I had my ultrasound at 12 weeks and everything was fine. I'm due to see my midwife on Monday when she will check the heartbeat with a doppler. Thing is I'm feeling very "normal" all my symptoms seem to have tailed off now (other than smells make me feel sick) I do have a bump and everyone says I'm showing now but to be honest I had a bit of a tummy to begin with so I don't notice it that much myself. I haven't felt it moving yet but have read it can be as late as 18-20 weeks before you feel movement.

Is it normal to start to feel normal is your 2nd trimester of pregnancy?

I have suffered 3 miscarriages in my past so I'm stressing a bit about this one. I thought after I had had my ultrasound and knew everything was fine I would relax a bit but I haven't. I have tried to get earlier appointments with my midwife to chat about how I'm feeling but they said to wait until my 16 week appointment as there is not a lot they can do before then as they won't be able to pick up the heartbeat with a doppler until then.

I just can't wait until I'm further along when I have a big bump and kicking baby to give me some reassurance!

I had a scan on monday and baby was just fine moving around and everything. I know that after having miscarriages before makes you think the worse, im the very same i had 4 miscarriages before and never stop worrying. Good luck

You may of felt gas around tha t12 week mark, I felt a few pops arond 14 weeks and then nothing until 20 or so weeks again. I'm not really sure what could be causing a fast heart beat but try not to stress about it. They might have gotten your due date wrong and the baby is smaller hence why the faster heart beat. I didn't really 'feel' pregnant until I was getting beaten up from the inside. You haven't had any bleeding or cramping, which is a good sign :) I know it's hard, but try not stress :) I am sure all is ok. xx

If you have been struggling to fall pregnant, there are some useful tips that may help to increase your chances of conceiving and prevent miscarriages. Read here https://tr.im/yugJi

Follow a healthy, balanced diet by eating plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables as well as foods that are rich in iron, calcium and folate, essential for reproductive health

Maintain a healthy weight as being overweight or underweight can affect the body’s hormone levels which in turn makes conception difficult

Healthy weight loss can increase chances of getting pregnant; however, too much weight loss can affect a healthy pregnancy

Regular exercise such as walking, swimming or cycling will help keep you fit and active before and during your pregnancy. It will also help get you back into shape after the pregnancy

Avoid drinking alcohol and caffeine as this can make you less fertile

  • Don't stress, its normal. I'm 14 weeks and 3 days and have just started to feel back to normal. I was sick all the time, tired, and couldnt hold anything down. But now my symptoms are starting to wear off. We should count ourselves as lucky because some women have to go through their whole pregnancy sick. But don't be surprised if your symptoms come back, even at the very end of your pregnancy.

  • You're fine. I got like that when I got around my second trimester and now I'm 17 weeks and feel more pregnant than ever. I've been extremely tired after having a great jolt of energy for the past couple of weeks. Around 20 weeks, your bump will really start showing so nothing to worry about. Good luck.

I had the very same thing happen and was terrified. Turns out, it's simply the wonderful part of pregnancy. The second trimester is much easier and you won't notice as many of those symptoms again until closer to the end. You and you're baby are fine, don't stress yourself out. If you were going to miscarry, it likely would have happened before twelve weeks. And don't you worry about movement either, soon enough you won't be able to get your little one to stop!

Totally normal. :) Pregnancy symptoms come and go and often the first trimester is the worst. Most women experience little to no pregnancy symptoms in the second but you might get some back once you enter the third.

I actually favor vegetables but like fruits that we use in salad such as tomatoes and avocados.

One of the most healthy foods are fruits and vegetables. You cannot find any healthy diet without them!
