There were no restrictions on opening hours for pubs in Britain in 1912, as long as they had a licence to serve alcohol.

Controlled opening hours were introduced during WW1, firstly to prevent soldiers drinking too much, and secondly to protect women workers traveling to and from the nightshift in factories from drunks late at night and early in the morning, when it was dark.

There were no licensing hours in 1912 (UK). These were not introduced until the middle of WWI when the Government wanted to control the drinking of, particularly, munitions workers.
