What practical help can ordinary people give to try to help those Palestinians forced to live under occupation?

I know that there are many people involved in protests and in trying to organise boycots of goods such as produce etc from the illegally occupied territories. but I and many others that I know would like to be able do something that could offer direct help to those in need. For example, does anyone know whether there is an address to which financial contributions can be sent in the sure knowledge that they would reach the intended recipients and would not fall into the wrong hands en-route?

Other than give 'lip service' to the plight of the repressed Palestinians and the measures you have mentioned it is difficult to know what to do. As soon as you voice an objection about the Jew's illegal occupation of Palestine you are accused of being antisemitic. Even a blind man on a galloping horse could see that the Jews took Palestine by 'terrorist force' back in 1948. If this is raised they play the Holocaust card and feel that this shocking and unparallelled event in the history of mankind justifies any atrocity they wish to commit to hold onto their power in the Middle East. They claim, probably quite rightly, that the Jewish Nation occupied Palestine 3000 years ago, but anyone can go back into history and stop at a point most suitable to their argument. The enormous problem is that they have seen that they can break as many international laws as they please, i.e., shell and bomb the U.N, building where woman and children were sheltering, and get away with it. Don't buy Jewish goods is about the only form of legal objection to the existence of the rogue state of Israel I can think of.

There is not a great lot that we can do as the zionists stop aid reaching Palestine and its never a good idea to send money as there are too many greedy fingers around. The best thing is to lobby your government relentlessly to make them stop supporting the illegal occupation and to enforce tough sanctions until the land is returned to its rightful owners.

Sending money would probably not help - it would be squandered. The best thing to do is to pursue and demand a final peaceable resolution of the disputed lands and demands. Some compromise is required from both sides, and the best thing to do is to demand the officials to make progress and finally resolve the issues.

I think we should boycott anything produced by israeli companies, and should go on more protests to highlight the injustice that is happening in Palestine, the fact that our government is allowing this to happen is horrific.
