Nose Piercing Problems?

I have had a pierced nose for 10 years. I removed the stud this morning to change it but, for the first time ever, I could not get a stud back in the piercing.

Does anyone know what might be the reason, and are there any tips for puttung back the stud easily? I have tried Vaseline on the piercing but the problem is, it just makes the stud slippery and impossible to hold.

Thanks!

Go to local piercing shop ASAP if you need help getting it back in! I lose my nose piercing bcuz it fell out in the night and I had the same problem! I was later told that if I had just gone to a piercing shop they have tools to help with stuff like this and they normally don't even charge.

Try putting a sterile needle with an antibiotic cream on it and put that through the piercing to get it opened. Then use an anti-biotic cream on the the stud you want to put in. Good luck.

while you have your nose piercing in, daily twist it to the right and left to break up any skin that might be around the nose. when cleaning i either soak it in hydrogen peroxide or use bactine spray. they both remove bacteria
