Computer problem Windows XP?

I run XP and some time ago I changed a setting so that the last internet page I viewed comes on everytime I turn my PC back on. I wish to cancel this as it is causing problems I think. I cannot remember which setting I changed, help would be appreciated . Thank you

Update:

I run Firefox. If I turn the PC off after using it, I may have been looking at "Answers" for example. When I switch the computer back on and connect to Firefox the exact same page in answers will come back on the screen, it will not have been updated or anything since I last looked at it.

If it's in Internet Explorer, go to Internet Options under "Tools" in the toolbar or Control Panel & you'll see where you can change your "Home Page". In Firefox go to Tools, Options, General tab. It will be similar in most browsers.
