A question about Homosexuality.?

Unfortunately the tendency to abuse children might be partly genetic. I see where you are coming from and that pedophiles could use that to justify their actions. However no matter how strong the feeling, that individual still has the conscious decision and so if they molester a child they are breaking the law. Likewise some people are genetically more aggressive that others and it is human nature to want to hit someone if they have said something nasty about us.

However we need to apply control to that because we can justify the act of hitting someone as being wrong. Likewise people who want to molester children must control their desires so that it never happens. They could always go to a hospital and explain about their desires and ask for some treatment like different hormones to stop them from getting sexually aroused if the problem was too difficult to control. I am uncertain what the cause of homosexuality is and different people think different things. I think that the cause is not significant. The issue is what to do now or how that person integrates their sexual preferences into their life to achieve the most fulfillment. However with pedophiles they cannot integrate their sexual preferences into their life and just have to live with that or they become a danger to children and a great concern for parents who want to allow their children to play out.

Are you looking for Paedophilia's, attempting to explain and justify their behaviour by way of saying its natural??

Documented reporting has shown time and again that the highest risk of being a child abuser is the natural parents. Of them the most often person to offend is the father. Next in line is the loving brother and sweat uncles. With religious followers not far behind in pedophilia activity.

It is in fact interesting to note that openly homosexual men are a long way down on the list of possible offenders. Almost 100% of all homosexual pedophiles are secret about their sexuality. Now why would that be?

So if you truly want to get a response you should be posting your question in the religious or maybe family or men's health section. But rewrite it and dump any mention of homosexuality as we have little activity in this problem.

Yes Pedophilia is a natural occurring condition. Its as natural as eating, going to the toilet or heterosexual/homosexual/bisexual sex.

I believe that I should expect to be shown tolerance and understanding for my homosexuality because the people in my bed are of an age to be able to make an informed decision. (Not children.)

Where as in the case of sex with a child.

The child is not mentally capable to make an informed decision. Because of this, laws in Western Countries do not allow for it. Therefor despite a Pedophile explaining that his sexual needs are natural, none the less they are also illegal for the reasons I have just mentioned.

It's possible the pedophiles might be born with it (for the record, I have not seen much research on that subject, additionally I'm a gay male) but one thing that is seen with pedophiles is a history of sexual abuse they received from an adult as a child as a risk factor.

The difference here being is that homosexual adults is a consensual thing, as apposed to pedophilia, which is obviously non consensual

Pedophiles RAPE CHILDREN. That's why it's wrong. Children by definition cannot consent to sex. The end. Nothing about genetics matters.

I find it alarming how many Americans have a difficult time telling if something is right or wrong, if some authority isn't telling them.

the thing that puzzles me is the belief that homosexuals are pedophiles, the percentage of those who are is the same as for straight guys.

I disagree that paedophilia is inborn, it's an acquired fetish predominantly found in heterosexual males and should not be compared to homosexuality.

Homosexuality is an abomination to God, personally gay men are gross. But lesbians are pretty hot! ;)
