completely missed period on YAZ pill? did miss a few?

Ive been on yaz for almost four months now after changing from a different pill and last month i missed the first 3 pills cause i ran out before i could see the doctor an then i realised i missed 2 before my inactive pills at the end of the month. I normally get my period about 5 days after taking the inactive pills when iv just started the new pack but i havnt had any period or cramps or spotting. The pill has made my periods much shorter but never missed one except for when i was pregnant with my son. Im 14 days into my active pills and still have a negative pregnancy test. Any clues?

Update:

oh yea iv also been feeling relly tired in the last 2 weeks but that could just be from having cold.

Hey girl! I'm on Lutera and I have been taking it responsibly everyday since the beginning of April. I have been getting my period every month on the second day of my placebo pills. Last month in July, I missed my period. I freaked out cause I'm too young to be pregnant, so I took five pregnancy tests. They were all negative. Maybe you just missed a period like me

Sometimes, if you miss more than a certain amount of pills, it changes the hormonal balance in your body and therefore may cause your period to be delayed. Give your period another week or two to start. If it still doesn't begin, then ask your doctor what's going on. When I got off the pill completely, my period was about three weeks late before it started up again. I hope this helps.
