How far is it between terminals at McCarran, I'm arriving from Gatwick and want to go to a shop in T1?

I'll have a bag but was wondering if it is walkable or if I'll need a taxi between terminals??

McCarran Airport is not that big compared to Gatwick or Heathrow. You can easily walk to Terminal 1 from any other terminal. 15 min. walk easily.

Terminal 1 is the main one, 2 used for some international flights. You cannot walk between the two main terninals but can between Gates A B C D, which are all in T1. Check www.mccarren.com for and they have layout

You have to walk outside but it isn't a real far walk however you won't be able to shop in T1 because you will not pass the security check point. You have to have a ticket for an outbound flight at T1 to get past security and all shops are after security. Sorry.

The monorail is a couple of minutes walk from the terminal. Time spent in risk-free practices? Hmm. Very variable. The numbers of team on duty look to variety. Friday is frequently a hectic day

Here's a link to the terminal diagram. There's no scale, but you can get an educated estimate.

To me, it doesn't look like it's much more than about 400 feet (130 meters).

There is a free shuttle that takes passengers between terminals.
