Need help with organising a doctors appointment (im 15 and female)?

The problem is weird discharge, i wont go into detail.

Right firstly, i dont want my mum to find out, so is there any chance of her finding out i've been, or worse, will i need to take her with me?

Secondly, who will i need to ask to see? a doctor, a nurse, a clinic person, i dont know.. (?!)

And thirdly, will they refuse to test me for certain things, (eg pregnancy) due to my age?

Any help would be really appreciated, thanks.

your mum will not be informed about it . easier to see the nurse first and they can relay there finding,s to the doctor and no they will not refuse to do a pregnacy test . get to the surgery sap they deal with these issues evey week and you can if you prefer to see a doc of the same sex

A gynecologist will probably see you

It really depends on what state you live in. I live in Illinois, and can go to the county health department to get birth control, pregnancy tests, and condoms for free without my parents knowing. I'd just tell your mom that you think you need to see a "woman doctor" though

They will test you for anything if they know that you are sexually active. You could try getting a home pregnancy test at the dollar store first though.

ok what color is the discharge? white is right, yellow or green needs to be seen.if there is a possibility you could be pregnant you may also be checked for that too. sounds to me like you have some kind of infection
