Will my lip piercing close?
I got my lip pierced a month ago and i think its healed. I had surgery today to get my wisdom teeth removed and i took my piercing out during the surgery and when i got home i put a long piercing in. But since its long it bothers me but right now i have no smaller one, the smaller one i have is too short. It kinda closed during the surgery but since i couldnt feel my mouth i opened it again. If i take it off for a day will it close all the way? And im 15 btw

When they start healing again, the skin on the inside starts to close first. Normally, it takes 3-6 months to fully heal a lip piercing, that's what my piercer said, and if you couldn't feel your mouth, it might have closed back up on the inside, and you just broke the skin again. Be sure to clean it very well, because if you did break the skin open again, it is just like a fresh piercing all over again. Take care of it and make sure it doesn't get infected.
